Bach Concerts Ghent was founded to promote the restoration of the world-famous Cavaillé-Coll organ in the Saint Nicholas church. This organ is currently in a very poor condition and has not been playable for years. A major restoration is desperately needed. With the concert series, we wish to increase the attention and support for the restoration of the instrument. This valuable gem has been silent for 60 years now, and more than ever we want to break this silence.
